About Me!
I’ve never been good at filling out about me sections, but I am going to do my best. I am in my mid thirties and I enjoy a variety of genres. I do find that I stick to fiction more than anything and I read a lot of thriller, crime, horror, suspense, and general fiction. I like reading new things from time to time.
I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, writing, spending time in nature (hiking, just hanging out, etc), camping, photography, coding, and crafting (crocheting, scrapbooking, and more). For a while there, I fell into a reading slump and I took a massive years long break from all things reading, writing, and blogging.
In 2024, I started working on writing a novel that I probably won’t ever finish and then I found a few books that reignited my love of reading. I have since joined a local book club and I’ve opted to get my blog(s) restarted. This is one of a few that I will be running.

About the Blog!
Crandom originally started out as a personal blog between two friends. Life happens, friends drifted apart and the blog stayed with me. It ended up drifting to just all things books. Cover reveals, book releases, book reviews and that’s where it is going to stay- with the potential to include game reviews at some point. Crandom = Crazy Random, which still fits even with just book reviews, because I never pick just one genre. We originally launched in 2014 and we took a significant break from the early 2020’s til 2026. We are extremely happy to be back, we’ve missed being able to recommend reviews to all of you.
I do take requests for book reviews from authors/publishers directly, but just note that just sending over a request does not guarantee a review. If I DNF a book, I will not review it unless asked to by the author.
I do not offer any sort of paid promotional services and this is something that I don’t plan on ever offering. I like to read and share books I enjoy with other people, I don’t want to try to organize anything more than a blog post.

Where I’m Going
Hopefully working towards regrowing my followers and getting these things up and going again. Sorry for the long break, I’ve missed you guys and I’ve missed having a creative outlet.
A huge thank you to Jenny Lawson for continuing to publish things that remind me that I am not alone, that while it often feels like I am talking to no one, that if I want to write and have this outlet, it’s okay for me to do so.
